The same two destinations. But the sun is in a different position — and at Navagio, that changes everything.

There is a version of Navagio that most people never see. Not the postcard image taken in the flat light of midday, but the one that happens in the late afternoon, when the sun tracks west and the light finds the cove directly. The cliffs turn white-gold. The sand glows. And the rusting hull of the MV Panagiotis, half-buried and motionless, becomes something that is genuinely hard to look away from.

The Luna leaves the port of Zakynthos at 16:00. Six hours on the water, returning at 22:00, with the two most dramatic destinations on the northern coastline as the fixed points of the evening.

Your transfer collects you from your accommodation and brings you to the port. From the moment you step aboard, the evening belongs to your group — up to twelve of you, a skipper who has timed this journey before and knows exactly when to be where, and a steward who makes sure the drinks are always cold and the fruit always fresh.

The order of the evening, the pace, the stops along the way — those are the skipper’s call, shaped by the conditions. What does not change is the destination. Navagio and the Blue Caves. And the light that arrives at both of them in the late afternoon in a way that no morning cruise can replicate.

At Navagio the Luna holds her position twenty metres from the shore. The beach is closed — no landing, no exceptions — but from the water, as the sun descends behind the cliffs and the cove fills with golden light, you will not feel like you are missing anything.

At the Blue Caves the boat enters slowly as the evening deepens. The light through the rock and the water is different at this hour — warmer, quieter, more intimate. There are swim stops here. Take your time.

At 22:00 the Luna returns to port. Your transfer takes you home.

M/Y Luna — The Flagship of the Ionian

The Azimut Atlantis 50 is a different proposition entirely. Designed by Carlo Galeazzi, it is a yacht that looks different from the moment you see it — the arrowhead profile, the glass-dominated hardtop, the continuous flow from helm station to swim platform that makes the entire deck feel like one open, connected space. Step aboard and the first thing you notice is the light. The hardtop is largely glass, and as the sun comes out it darkens automatically — keeping out the heat while maintaining the extraordinary openness that defines this yacht. The retractable sunroof opens to the sky when you want the full Mediterranean experience. Twin 800 HP Volvo engines give Luna a presence on the water that matches her appearance — powerful, smooth, and entirely unhurried about it. Three staterooms below deck mean that Luna is as comfortable at anchor as she is underway. For a group that wants the best — more space, more power, more of everything — this is the boat. Up to 12 guests. A crew of 2. And a yacht that raises the standard of what a day on the Ionian can be.

Tour's Location

Zante Voyage, Agiou Dionisiou, Zakinthos, Greece

Why is the sunset slot special for this cruise?

Navagio faces west. As the sun drops towards the horizon, the light pours directly into the cove and the shipwreck turns gold. It is a completely different experience from the morning visit — quieter, warmer, and genuinely hard to forget. The Blue Caves also take on a different quality at this hour — deeper, more golden, somehow more still.

Are the destinations fixed?

Yes — this cruise is specifically designed around Navagio and the Blue Caves. The order in which they are visited, the time spent at each, and any additional stops nearby are down to your skipper and the conditions on the day.

How many people can join the cruise?

The Luna accommodates up to 12 guests.

Is pick-up from our accommodation included?

Yes. A private transfer will collect you from your hotel, villa or any other accommodation on the island and bring you to the port of Zakynthos. The same transfer takes you home at the end of the day.

What food and drinks are included?

Snacks, fresh fruit, water, wine, beer, coffee and soft drinks are all included and served throughout the cruise. No meals are included on this cruise.

Are there swim stops?

Yes — at the Blue Caves and at any other spot your skipper finds worth stopping at along the way.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety always comes first. If sea conditions are unsuitable, we will reschedule you on the next available date at no extra cost, or offer a full refund if you are unable to join a future cruise.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

No minimum — the boat is yours regardless of how many people are in your group, up to a maximum of 12.

Can children come on board?

Yes, children are welcome on board accompanied by an adult.

What should we bring?

Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a towel. Swimwear of course. A light cover-up for the breeze when the boat is moving. Everything else is taken care of.

Is the price per person or for the whole boat?

The price is for the entire boat — not per person. VAT is included.

Can we land on Navagio beach?

No. Navagio beach is closed to visitors and no boat is permitted to dock or disembark passengers there. The boat approaches to within twenty metres of the shore — close enough to take in the full spectacle, particularly as the evening light transforms the cove.
