The southern coastline of Zakynthos is a different world from the dramatic cliffs of the north. Here the water is calmer, the light softer, and the sea life more present. This is the National Marine Park — one of the most protected stretches of water in the Mediterranean — and it is best experienced slowly, from the water, with nobody else setting the pace.
Your day begins at your accommodation. A private transfer brings you to the port of Zakynthos, where the Catalina is waiting. By 9:00 am you are on the water, heading south.
The two destinations are fixed. How you get there, how long you stay, and what the skipper finds along the way — that is the journey.
The protected bay of Marathonisi is one of the most important loggerhead nesting sites in the entire Mediterranean. The Caretta caretta turtles surface here quietly — unhurried, ancient, completely indifferent to your presence. Your skipper knows these waters and knows how to position the boat. The rest is silence and patience, and it is almost always rewarded.
The boat moves on to the sea caves at Keri, where the limestone cliffs open into chambers and the water shifts from deep blue to a shade of green that is genuinely difficult to describe. You drift inside by boat. There are swim stops here — in the caves, outside them, wherever the conditions are right.
At 15:00 the Catalina returns to port. Your transfer takes you home.

Yes — this cruise is specifically designed around Marathonisi Islands and the Keri Caves. The order in which they are visited, the time spent at each, and any additional stops nearby are down to your skipper and the conditions on the day.
The Catalina accommodates up to 8 guests.
Yes. A private transfer will collect you from your hotel, villa or any other accommodation on the island and bring you to the port of Zakynthos. The same transfer takes you home at the end of the day.
Snacks, fresh fruit, water, wine, beer, coffee and soft drinks are all included and served throughout the cruise. No meals are included on this cruise.
Yes — at the Keri Caves and at any other spot your skipper finds worth stopping at along the way.
Safety always comes first. If sea conditions are unsuitable, we will reschedule you on the next available date at no extra cost, or offer a full refund if you are unable to join a future cruise.

Yes, children are welcome on board accompanied by an adult.
Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a towel. Swimwear of course. A light cover-up for the breeze when the boat is moving. Everything else is taken care of.
