There is a reason photographers talk about the golden hour. When the sun drops towards the western horizon, the light changes quality entirely — it softens, it warms, it turns ordinary things extraordinary. And Navagio faces west.
By the time the Catalina reaches the shipwreck on this cruise, the sun is already beginning its descent. The white cliffs catch the light first, then the sand, then the hull itself — and for a window of time that lasts just long enough to make you wish it would last forever, the wreck of the MV Panagiotis turns gold. There is no other word for it.
Your evening begins at your accommodation. A private transfer brings you to the port of Zakynthos, where the Catalina is waiting. By 16:00 you are on the water, heading north along a coastline that looks different in the afternoon light from how it looks at any other time of day.
The two destinations are fixed. The order, the timing, the stops along the way — those belong to your skipper and the conditions of the evening.
At the Blue Caves the boat enters slowly. The late afternoon light filters through the rock and the water in a way that is different from the morning — deeper, more golden, somehow quieter. There are swim stops here. The water is still warm. Take your time.
At Navagio the boat comes to within twenty metres of the shore. You cannot land. You will not want to. What you will want is to stay exactly where you are, watching the light move across the cliffs and the sand and the rusting hull, for as long as the evening allows.
At 22:00 the Catalina returns to port. Your transfer takes you home. The sky above Zakynthos on the way back is worth looking at.

Yes. A private transfer will collect you from your hotel, villa or any other accommodation on the island and bring you to the port of Zakynthos. The same transfer takes you home at the end of the day.
Snacks, fresh fruit, water, wine, beer, coffee and soft drinks are all included and served throughout the cruise. No meals are included on this cruise.

Safety always comes first. If sea conditions are unsuitable, we will reschedule you on the next available date at no extra cost, or offer a full refund if you are unable to join a future cruise.

Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a towel. Swimwear of course. A light cover-up for the breeze when the boat is moving. Everything else is taken care of.

No. Navagio beach is closed to visitors and no boat is permitted to dock or disembark passengers there. The boat approaches to within twenty metres of the shore — close enough to take in the full spectacle, particularly as the evening light transforms the cove.
