White rock formations rising straight out of the sea. The only way to reach them properly is by paddleboard.
There are photographs of the Myzithres rocks that look like they were taken on another planet. Great white limestone formations jutting out of the Ionian, surrounded by water so clear you can see the bottom from the surface, with hidden coves tucked between them that no road and no beach will ever take you to.
The only way in is by water. And the best way to do it is standing up.
You set off from Porto Koukla Beach Hotel with a guide who knows these formations and knows how the water moves around them. The paddle out takes you along the southern coastline of Zakynthos — a stretch of cliffs and open water that is worth taking in slowly before the Myzithres come into view.
When they do, they stop you in your tracks. From a paddleboard, at water level, the scale of the rocks is something photographs don’t quite capture. You paddle between them, into the hidden coves, along channels that open unexpectedly into calm, sheltered water. The guide knows where to go and when to stop and let the place speak for itself.
After the rocks there is snorkelling — the underwater landscape around the Myzithres is as dramatic as the surface. Masks are provided.
Every session is photographed and filmed in HD and 4K. The memories are taken care of.
The tour lasts 3 hours and runs at multiple time slots throughout the day. Check-in is at Porto Koukla Beach Hotel.
No experience is required. Your guide will give you a full briefing before departure and the boards are stable and easy to handle. If you can balance, you can paddleboard.

Yes — snorkelling masks are provided and there is a snorkelling stop during the tour.
Yes, children are welcome. Please contact us in advance if you are bringing young children so we can make the appropriate arrangements.
Swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. Everything else — board, paddle, mask, waterproof bag, waterproof phone case, snack and water — is provided.
The tour departs from Porto Koukla Beach Hotel. Transfers to and from the hotel are not included but can be arranged at an extra cost — please contact us for a quote.
Safety always comes first. If conditions are unsuitable, the tour will be rescheduled or a full refund offered.
